Located in the Northwest Arkansas in the City of Springdale, Arkansas the Housing Authority was established in 1967.
Public Housing Program
The Housing Authority manages a total of 197 apartments. The first Public Housing property Phillips Plaza (AKA Applegate Apartments 170 units) was developed in May of 1971. The second development called Spring Creek Apartments was developed in 1982 (AKA Success and Maple Street 27 units.)
Phillips Plaza has been in operation since May, 1971. The Plaza consists of one Community Center , Maintenance and Management Building, and 170 dwelling units as follows;
30 – Efficiency apartments
40- 1 Bedroom apartments
60- 2 Bedroom apartments
36 – 3 Bedroom apartments
4-4 bedroom apartments
In 1982 Spring Creek Apartments was acquired with 27 additional apartments located on Success and Maple Streets as follows:
6-1 Bedroom apartments
12 – 2 bedroom apartments
7 – 3 Bedroom apartments
1 – 4 Bedroom apartments.
Each apartment has central heat and air. Refrigerators, gas ranges and blinds are furnished. Automatic Washer and Dryer hookups are provided in all but the efficiency apartments. There are adequate clothes lines for each building.
There are ten apartments with special design features for Disabled families.

Closed for lunch 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
